Introduction

Hello, everyone.

I am a long-time Runescape player, going back to about 2004 or so. My main character is Erikfrombc, and just recently I maxed out my combat stats: Strength, Attack, Defence and Hit Points all at Level 99.

While I continue to work on other skills, I have created some new characters and worked on them to develop a guide for new players. I have created a strategy that gets me from new player to Level 50 in about a week with no more than an hour or two playing a day. Along with that I am able to make enough money to pay for improved weapons and armor, and all this takes place on Free servers. I cover this in my Web Site at http://www.runescape-strategy.com/, and I intend to expand this to higher levels, as well as skills other than combat.

In this Blog I want to concentrate on other aspects such as Quests, areas, items and other things that people might like to discuss. I am looking forward to comments from other players, especially those with their own Blogs and sites. Let me know your site address and I will add it to my list on the right-hand side.

For those who simply have questions, feel free to post those, too. If I don't have the answer, one of my many in-game friends might, or perhaps another reader might be able to help out.

And if you have any goals that you are looking to achieve, or have recently achieved, I would love to hear about them. I think the genius of Runescape is that there are so many things that can be done that there is no way that any of us can do it all. Having something left to accomplish is what keeps us playing!
